Rainy season (July to September): This is when heat and humidity peak, and rain is common—usually short bursts for a couple of hours rather than all-day storms. The ocean is often at its warmest and calmest.

The beach is great for most water activities—everything except surfing. If you’d like to surf, Sayulita (a well-known surf town) is about 1.5 hours north of Puerto Vallarta and makes an excellent day trip.
To the south, you’ll see the rocky coastline of Banderas Bay; to the north, you can enjoy Puerto Vallarta’s city lights. From our patio, you get a wide 180° view across the bay, and during the holiday season you can often spot fireworks at night.
Yes — the pool is heated / temperature-controlled year-round.
Both the pool and the beach are accessed directly from the property. You can reach them by going through the lobby and hallway, and the beach entrance is secured with a private access code. There’s also ramp access down to the pool.
Definitely. You’ll find a range of local restaurants along Highway 200, both about 2.5 miles to the south and roughly 5 miles to the north. We’re happy to share our personal favorites, and the concierge can also help you book or choose based on what you’re craving.
Very convenient—there’s a bus stop right in front of the building at the top of the driveway. Taxis are also commonly available in the area during the daytime.
Yes. There’s a small mini-market about a 5-minute walk (or 2-minute drive) away for basics like eggs, milk, beer, and snacks. Larger supermarkets and full-service markets are mainly located in town.
